Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, OR
- Associates degree with 2 years of relevant technical/project management experience, OR
- High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of applicable business or technical/project management experience.
- At least 4 years of IT and business experience, including roles in project management, Agile Framework, major construction, or engineering.
- Certification or degree aligned with project management discipline (PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred).
- More than 7 years managing projects affecting cross-functional business areas and team management experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred experience in managing projects for Supply Chain & Purchasing.
- Proficient in executive-level status reporting.
- Experience with MS Project and Jira is advantageous.
- Background in various project types (e.g., in-house development, vendor, offshore) is expected.
- Knowledge of multiple project management frameworks, such as Scrum and Waterfall, is a plus.
- Ability to foster continuous improvement within the project team.
- Effective communication skills with peers, business partners, and mid-level management.
Responsibilities
- Confirm project scope and identify management and control methods.
- Plan, estimate, schedule, and track less complex projects.
- Estimate, budget, and oversee project expenditures.
- Create, enforce, and manage quality assurance programs.
- Recognize and manage project risks.
- Develop and supervise procurement strategies.
- Mentor team members on project management skills and techniques.
- Ensure transparency regarding the projects current status and forecasted costs.
Description
