Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Over 8 years of substantial development experience
- Strong commitment to engineering excellence and innovation
- Proficient in Domain Driven API design and API Lifecycle management
- Skilled in API development using core Java, Spring frameworks, and cloud technologies like AWS
- Experience with Test Driven Development and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber
- Knowledgeable in deploying applications through tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Docker
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk
- Understanding of scalability, availability, and performance issues in high transaction applications
- Ability to collaborate and mentor within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with others to prioritize work based on strategic significance and impact
- Design, build, and support high-transaction applications in production environments
- Focus on engineering best practices and continuous learning
- Develop APIs adhering to Swagger or Open API Specifications
- Utilize tools such as IntelliJ/VSCode in UNIX and Windows settings
- Conduct extensive unit testing and ensure quality through frameworks and tools
- Deploy applications effectively while managing their performance in the cloud
