Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in Software Engineering
- More than 10 years in Application Development utilizing Java and Microservices
- Extensive experience (10+ years) with Database Technologies such as Oracle and Mongo
- A decade of experience using Spring Boot
- 10+ years of front-end development with React JS
- At least 2 years working within an Agile framework, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members
- Proven ability in relationship-building with stakeholders and vendors (2+ years)
- Experience in migrating applications to cloud platforms like Google, Azure, or PCF (2+ years)
- Certification in Cloud technologies is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in the Financial Industry is advantageous
- At least 2 years of experience using Eclipse
- 2+ years of experience with Kafka
Responsibilities
- Direct complex technology projects with significant impact while mentoring junior colleagues and acting as a peer advisor
- Create, code, test, and document scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and React JS
- Establish engineering standards company-wide with an emphasis on security, regulatory compliance, and maintaining production-grade discipline
- Collaborate with senior technical teams and external industry organizations to overcome intricate technical challenges
Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the design and development of the user experience for intricate, organization-wide technology projects in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role emphasizes the integration of UI/UX with enterprise service layers to deliver exceptional customer-facing applications, distinguishing it from middleware-intensive roles. Candidates can expect a contract-to-permanent position with competitive hourly pay ranging from $69.53 to $79.00. Our work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and a 401K plan, contingent upon eligibility.
