Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach
- Proven track record of supporting Agile Communities of Practices and involvement in an Agile Center of Excellence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills within a Lean-Agile environment
- Strong advocate for Agile practices with a passion for their benefits
- Experience leading significant initiatives with considerable scope and impact
- Exceptional interpersonal and teaching skills
- Commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement in Agile methodologies
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Strong project financial management expertise
- Proficient in guiding projects through various phases while ensuring adherence to required standards
- Experience developing and managing project plans
- Competency in issue identification, assignment, tracking, and resolutions
- Skilled in organizing regular meetings, creating agendas, and documenting outcomes
- Ability to provide clear project status updates to senior leaders and executives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with programming is advantageous
- Solid understanding of Agile concepts and experience coaching teams in Agile adoption or serving as a Scrum Master
- Agile/Scrum Coach certification is required
- Scrum Master certification is required
- SAFe certification is preferred
- Past coaching experience in large organizations or Fortune 500 companies is desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and facilitation of Agile learning solutions including training, coaching, and communication
- Oversee project initiation and organizational efforts in Agile methodologies
- Identify opportunities to promote Agile values and improve adoption throughout the organization
- Create and prepare Agile training materials and procedural guidelines
- Conduct Agile training sessions, workshops, and personalized coaching for both Business and IT team members
- Mediate and enhance communication across cross-functional technical teams
- Define and execute enhancements in engineering standards, processes, and methods
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure compliance with Agile methodologies
- Evaluate application product teams against Agile best practices and provide actionable insights to IT leadership
- Educate colleagues at various levels on Agile principles and provide them with applicable tools
- Mentor team members in Agile practices, fostering growth and addressing questions
- Develop an Agile adoption strategy covering all stages from introduction to sustainability
- Implement Agile principles across all organizational levels and departments, promoting collaboration and innovation
- Embrace and exemplify Agile values, leading by example
Description
We are an innovative organization located in Plano, Texas, seeking a skilled Agile Coach to join our dynamic team. This role entails not only implementing Agile methodologies but also fostering an Agile mindset across our teams and departments. By partnering with senior leadership and driving education, mentorship, and strategy development, we aim to enhance our development processes and overall organizational efficiency. We offer competitive compensation of $60-$70 per hour, with work hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
