Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in Database Engineering or a related field through various professional experiences, training, military service, or education.
- At least 5 years of proficiency in Logical and Physical Data Modeling.
- Minimum of 5 years supporting highly available distributed database systems.
- More than 5 years of experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies for large-scale technology projects and migrations.
- 4+ years of experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL/YugabyteDB.
Responsibilities
- Drive and manage complex database operations, focusing on the design and implementation of advanced logical and physical databases, along with data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning.
- Plan, research, design, implement, and maintain server-class databases with a strong emphasis on establishing secure solutions, adhering to Center for Internet Security benchmarks, and certifying next-generation database technologies.
- Provide consultation and strategic advice to management and multiple clients regarding significant data or database management challenges, guiding strategic direction.
- Formulate management policies, procedures, standards, and best practices for effective database governance.
- Collaborate and engage with colleagues and management to meet objectives and tackle challenges effectively.
