Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in a technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role
- Proven ability to develop data workflows and solid knowledge of data operations, including processing, storage, quality, and management
- At least 3 years of experience in constructing ETL pipelines
- Minimum of 3 years of proficiency in Python programming
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business partners at Two Sigma to assess their data ingestion and transformation requirements
- Partner with engineers, researchers, and portfolio managers throughout the organization to integrate new datasets and bring new data pipelines into production
- Construct reliable, production-ready data pipelines that support Two Sigmas trading operations
- Enhance, refine, and maintain our data ingestion and transformation framework as necessary
Description
We are excited to invite Data Engineers (contract) to become part of our skilled Data Engineering team. In this position, you will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable, high-performance data pipelines that handle over 30TB of data daily, maintaining reliability, efficiency, and data integrity throughout our platform. This role is fully remote, offers a competitive salary of $165 - $170 per hour, and is scheduled for work hours from 9 AM to 5 PM.
