Data Architect & Solution Design Lead

- Lead the design of target-state data architecture and comprehensive solution design for relevant domains - Transform business needs and analyst inputs into actionable data and semantic designs - Define and document canonical structures, semantic models, and mapping frameworks - Make decisions regarding facts, dimensions, measures, hierarchies, and entities suitable for reporting - Guide the overall solution approach, including data flow, layer responsibilities, and design dependencies - Conduct design sessions with client stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams - Collaborate with the Business Analyst to convert payment rules and mapping logic into structured designs - Review source-to-target mappings, rules for transformation, and traceability artifacts for accuracy - Provide leadership daily in architecture throughout discovery, design, and preparation for implementation - Aid in implementation planning by identifying necessary components, dependencies, sequencing, and checkpoints - Evaluate client-generated outputs regularly to ensure conformity with established designs - Assist in issue resolution, design clarifications, and decision-making during validation and rollout - Prepare and deliver architecture and design presentations to clients and internal teams - Alert the Solution Lead to any significant design risks, trade-offs, and scope concerns.
