Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Proven experience in data analysis within healthcare
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, and Business Objects
- Strong understanding of health management program metrics
- Ability to analyze financial, pharmacy, claims, provider, and member data
- Experience with IRS, CMS, HHSC, and HEDIS reporting
- Excellent data cleansing and reconciliation skills
- Strong analytical and trend analysis abilities
- Effective communication with senior management and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Experience in training and mentoring junior analysts
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis on health management programs, focusing on collection, validation, and outcome measurement
- Analyze diverse datasets including financial, pharmacy, claims, provider, and member information
- Prepare reports in accordance with IRS, CMS, HHSC, and HEDIS standards
- Perform internal data cleansing and conduct reconciliation analyses
- Identify trends in various healthcare management sectors
- Create and generate reports using MS Excel, MS Access, and SQL through Business Objects
- Interface with senior management and various stakeholders to present findings
- Gather and interpret business requirements while monitoring data trends to identify potential issues
- Implement necessary data changes and update core systems as required
- Manage multiple projects and report risks and issues to management regularly
- Provide mentorship and training to junior Data Analysts
- Fulfill additional duties as required
Description
We are an Enterprise Healthcare client seeking a highly driven Data Analyst 5 to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a telecommute opportunity on a contract basis, offering competitive pay ranging from $58.66 to $68.66 per hour, with standard work hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
