Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Over 10 years of software engineering experience
- At least 8 years of experience developing RESTful microservices utilizing Java and Spring Boot
- More than 5 years of practical experience with AWS Cloud Native development, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD (Jenkins Core)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- Strong proficiency in building microservices using software design patterns, the Twelve-Factor App methodology, and SDLC principles
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes
- Expertise in asynchronous workers and resilient messaging platforms such as Kafka, SNS, and SQS
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, AWS Batch, and related scaling mechanisms
- Proficient in relational databases and SQL
- Practical experience with unit and integration test automation using Jest, Cucumber, JUnit, and Mockito

- Apply advanced problem-solving abilities to swiftly diagnose and rectify performance, resilience, or production-related issues
- Analyze product requirements to create scalable, secure, cloud-native technical designs that align with business objectives and architectural guidelines
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to establish solution strategies, develop design documentation, and ensure technical vision supports long-term product direction
- Assess trade-offs, recognize dependencies, and recommend design patterns that enhance performance, resilience, and maintainability
