Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within commercial banking or financial services
- Proven experience with ALM Octane for test management and defect tracking (required)
- Strong background in designing and automating regression test cases with Selenium and Java
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Jira and other ALM platforms
- In-depth understanding of automation frameworks and test strategy development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Must be located in Charlotte, NC, and work 100% onsite (5 days/week); no remote options available
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality automation test scripts using Selenium with Java
- Utilize ALM Octane for managing test cases, defect tracking, and test progress documentation
- Convert complex test scenarios into Gherkin syntax and assist in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test coverage with tools like Cucumber
- Conduct both manual and automated testing, including participation in physical ATM lab testing
- Create and execute SQL queries for test data preparation and backend testing
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and issue resolution for large commercial banking platforms
- Collaborate with Engineers to formulate a comprehensive testing strategy and define quality standards
- Act as a project lead or mentor for less experienced QA team members, fostering innovation in testing processes
- Consult with users and stakeholders, providing expert advice and risk assessment on test outcomes
- Track and verify the resolution of defects during the testing lifecycle
- Develop extensive test plans, document test cases, and meticulously record test results
- Ensure compliance with risk management requirements by working with stakeholders
- Proactively research and identify issues related to the systems being tested
