Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred, with concentrations in Programming and Mathematics considered an asset.
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or experience in core application technologies such as Oracle SQL, MS SQL Server, XML, Regular Expressions, VBA, DOS, and Excel macro development.
- Proficiency in SQL and foundational application programming concepts assessed through written/verbal evaluations during the interview process.
- Problem-solving skills will be evaluated based on the candidates responses to technical scenarios.
- Experience or education in applied mathematics and/or physics is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Offer technical and analytical support within the Application Development team to identify and address application issues, while providing root cause analysis.
- Apply changes to production applications utilizing a variety of programming languages and tools, including Oracle SQL and MS SQL Server among others.
- Develop expertise in specific customer applications and tools to assist users, support projects, and architect technical solutions, including large-scale application migrations and error resolutions.
- Produce thorough technical documentation for application testing protocols and procedures aimed at Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery.
- Conduct required testing of production environments in alignment with established procedures.
- Resolve incidents autonomously and fulfill requests with exceptional customer service, ensuring professional communication that aligns with our white glove service culture.
Description
We are currently seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. This role offers between $30 and $35 per hour and involves working from 8 AM to 5 PM. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial applications and enterprise tools.
