Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Work Experience:
- Ideally, you have 3+ years of prior system build experience.
- You should demonstrate the capability to support the application and have previous experience working with the specified customer base.
- The ability to work with moderate supervision is essential.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- A certification in the specified application is required, and you are expected to maintain this certification through New Version Training (NVT) as necessary.
- For certain clinical applications, clinical licensure is preferred and may be a requirement as specified in the Job Aid.
Responsibilities
As the Application Analyst II, you will serve as the primary support for the assigned application(s). Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Execution of Application Design and Build:
- You will design and construct the relevant application, collaborating with operations to optimize its capabilities and workflows.
- Utilizing external resources for best practice solutions is part of your role.
- You will review all Foundation Build and operational requests for content and workflows, participate in testing for implementations and upgrades, build necessary fields and functionalities, and work closely with the training team to align training efforts with the system build.
- Following build standards and maintaining synchronization between environments will be crucial, along with acting as a resource for Level 1 analysts.
2. Application Support:
- You will provide go-live support for customers and be responsible for on-call assistance.
- Participating in Integrated Area Workgroups and possessing a solid understanding of the subject matter will be expected.
- Collaboration with customers and informatics regarding enhancement requests and ongoing documentation of system modifications will be part of your daily activities.
3. Documentation and Communication:
- Ongoing ticket communication with customers is essential, ensuring that details are clear in resolutions and closures.
- You will record decisions and issues in trackers, support application governance needs, and maintain version control documentation.
- Effective communication with supervisors regarding escalations is vital, along with oral and written presentations to the project team.
4. Project Management:
- You will suggest improvements in processes, assist in the development of future materials, and track issues for resolution and closure.
- Collaborating with team members across departments and developing test scripts for new systems are key components of your role.
