Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience with MySQL, Postgres, or ClickHouse
- More than 5 years of experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Over 5 years of expertise in AWS
- Extensive experience with configuration management and deployment automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and Ansible
- Proficiency in networking, firewall, load balancer configuration, and Web Application Firewalls
- Familiarity with FTP and file delivery systems
- Production-level experience with distributed applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of modern continuous development techniques and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab)
- Proficient in Bash, Python, or another programming language
- Solid foundational understanding of Linux operating systems
- Working knowledge of databases like MySQL, Postgres, or ClickHouse
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Team-oriented collaborative spirit
- Strong documentation skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and customer on-premise server setups (Linux)
- Automate cloud deployments utilizing Terraform
- Manage software configuration through Ansible or Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Develop and implement monitoring and logging solutions for tech stacks and container orchestration platforms
- Establish Continuous Improvement and Continuous Delivery methodologies
- Collaborate with various source control technologies, optimizing their integration with processes and pipelines
- Assist clients in addressing challenges and recommend DevOps solutions aligned with their objectives
- Partner with the development team to build, deploy, and support software in cloud environments
- Work alongside the product security team to create and enforce security best practices
- Implement SLA monitoring, define Service Level Objectives, and strive to meet them
- Design and execute Disaster Recovery plans, focusing on RPO and RTO goals as well as plan validation
