Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of practical Help Desk or IT support experience
- A+ certification is mandatory
- Robust problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and mobile device support (iOS/Android)
- Strong skills in Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, data entry)
- Familiarity with purchase orders, procurement processes, or asset management is advantageous
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and limited secondary support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and account access
- Receive and log support tickets through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Troubleshoot technical issues using remote assistance tools and knowledge base resources
- Assist with audiovisual and conference room technology support
- Help manage procurement responsibilities, including generating purchase orders and liaising with vendors
- Update metrics, manage inventory systems, and keep detailed asset records
- Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and data management needs
- Participate in the implementation of a new Help Desk ticketing system
- Create, revise, and maintain Knowledge Base articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Escalate issues as necessary while ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
Description
We are Trinity IT, seeking two Help Desk Technicians (Contractors) to deliver essential technical support to our staff throughout the organization. These positions focus on daily troubleshooting, ticket resolution, audiovisual support, procurement assistance, and facilitating the launch of a new Help Desk ticketing system. Our ideal candidates are customer-focused, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, user-driven environment. This is a contract role, with compensation ranging from $30.00 to $33.00 per hour, and the work is conducted in person.
