Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in a managed service provider (MSP) environment is essential - Proficient in Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access) - Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP) and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls) - Familiarity with PSA/RMM tools such as Autotask or Datto RMM, or similar platforms - Strong organizational and documentation skills with excellent communication ability - A valid drivers license and dependable transportation - Ability to successfully clear an FBI background check due to requirements for local government clients

Responsibilities

- Resolve escalated hardware, software, and connectivity challenges through phone, remote sessions, and on-site visits - Administer and manage Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID - Support and maintain Windows Server environments, focusing on Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP - Troubleshoot networking issues at an intermediate level, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs - Manage support tickets and documentation using Autotask PSA, Datto RMM, and IT Glue - Monitor and respond to security alerts through systems such as Barracuda XDR and SentinelOne MDR - Travel to client sites within the San Antonio metro area as necessary - Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours technical support
