Requirements
Must:
- I hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- I have over 10 years of experience in database design and administration with a focus on structured content.
- I possess proven experience working with structured content formats (such as XML, JSON, DITA) and content repositories.
- I have expertise in database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MarkLogic, or similar platforms.
- I have a strong understanding of structured content workflows and schema design.
- I am proficient in database scripting languages (SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL) and query optimization.
- I am familiar with CMS/CCMS platforms and their database requirements and am a highly proficient user of Tridion Docs.
- I have experience with API integration and database connectivity.
- I am knowledgeable about data security standards and practices.
- I possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- I will develop and maintain structured content databases to support dynamic content delivery and reuse.
- I will design scalable database schemas to store and manage structured content.
- I will optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- I will manage data modeling, indexing, and version control for structured content.
- I will integrate databases with content management systems and collaborate with developers to implement database-driven workflows.
- I will ensure seamless integration between databases, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- I will monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data integrity and application performance problems.
- I will implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data governance and privacy laws.
- I will lead cross-functional teams to define database requirements, mentor junior database administrators, and act as the subject matter expert for structured content databases within the organization.

Our current salary range for this role is between $141,000 to $225,600 per year, which may be adjusted based on the geographic location of the hired employee. We acknowledge that compensation decisions may vary based on education, skills, experience, performance, and location. Additionally, the total compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives.
