IT Support Specialist (Evening Shift)

In this role, you will independently manage routine issues and provide remote assistance to other facilities within the Management Territory. You will also serve as a mentor to peers by sharing your knowledge and providing guidance with their tasks. Your main duties will include building, installing, and maintaining endpoints (PCs & MAC) according to established IT standards, as well as troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on these systems. You will prioritize problems based on their severity, urgency, and impact on the business, tracking all incidents until they are resolved. If you encounter particularly complex technical issues, you may need to escalate them to higher-level support teams. You will collaborate with enterprise support teams and external vendors to address challenges related to local LAN architecture and components, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. Through the change management process, you will coordinate the movement, installation, upgrading, removal, and configuration of IT assets and supporting infrastructure. You’ll also be supportive of wireless networks, servers, and peripheral devices related to desktop infrastructure. Taking ownership of problems, you will analyze issues and implement appropriate solutions to restore customer service as quickly as possible and will document all interactions within the RRD ITSM toolset. Furthermore, you will maintain an asset record inventory for endpoints and assist in conducting routine audits to guarantee adherence to company policies and governmental regulations.
