Requirements
Must:
- 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT environments
- Basic skills in SIEM and log analysis
- Familiarity with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
- Understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Strong motivation and eagerness to learn
- Exposure to NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC 2.0 is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is advantageous
- Knowledge of scripting or automation languages such as Python or PowerShell is preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess alerts generated by EDR, SIEM, and various other security tools
- Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents
- Escalate complex issues as required
- Help configure and maintain security tools
- Support vulnerability scanning and track remediation efforts
- Aid in hardening endpoints and systems
- Assist in implementing controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0
- Contribute to documentation efforts, including SSP, policies, and POA&M
- Organize and gather evidence for audits
- Manage security-related tickets and requests
- Assist in troubleshooting during system/security reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on various projects
