Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles within a corporate environment. - Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN, VPN, firewalls, and network troubleshooting. - Proficiency in using IT service management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy for ticketing and workflow management. - Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for common enterprise applications. - Experience supporting hardware components including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network devices. - Strong communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users and document technical procedures clearly. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a customer-centered approach.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, software, and network challenges. - Aid users with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance. - Configure and maintain computer networking elements including LANs, firewalls, and VPN connections. - Support software applications, including the Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise tools. - Manage service requests using platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy to record issues and resolutions. - Perform hardware repairs or replacements as necessary to minimize downtime. - Uphold security measures by managing firewalls and other security tools to safeguard company data. - Assist in establishing new user accounts and permissions within Active Directory or similar systems. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance existing support processes and documentation. - Communicate effectively with end-users to address issues promptly while providing outstanding customer service.
