Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in critical facility settings like data centers or hospitals
- In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including switchgear, generators, and UPS systems
- Familiarity with both AC and DC power systems
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical and mechanical issues
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory
- Capability to acquire an Electrical License from the City of Harrisburg within one year of employment
- Must be eligible for and maintain a Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in a critical facility environment
- Maintain and support power infrastructure, which includes UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, generators, and automatic transfer switches
- Monitor and manage building and energy management systems (BMS and EPMS)
- Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics, utilizing testing equipment such as multimeters, DLROs, and infrared scanning tools
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Address system alerts and facilitate rapid issue resolution to ensure continuous uptime
- Collaborate with operations teams to enhance system reliability and performance

This is a contract position that requires onsite work within a secure facility. We may offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
