Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in data science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Proven ability to evaluate production, inventory, and quality data to enhance operational success and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases related to ERP, MES, and production.
- Expertise in data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau for creating dashboards and monitoring KPIs.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, macros, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with .NET applications, including understanding data structures and supporting integration features.
- Practical knowledge of ERP systems (such as Infor CSI/Syteline, SAP, Oracle) and associated business applications.
- Experience in extracting, cleaning, and organizing data from APIs, cloud platforms (like Azure or AWS), or flat files.
- Ability to draft detailed, precise, and user-friendly reports for operational, quality, and executive teams.
- Competent in generating routine and on-the-spot reports related to KPIs, downtime, quality control metrics, and operational efficiency.
- History of summarizing data clearly with actionable insights to support cross-department decision-making.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on data-driven solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly when presenting to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across various teams, including production, engineering, quality, and IT.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person as per ALU 22CFR 120.15.
Responsibilities
- Analyze datasets related to manufacturing (production, downtime, scrap, throughput, etc.) to uncover trends and opportunities for enhancement.
- Convert raw data into practical insights to aid quality control, inventory management, and strategic decision-making in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Create, maintain, and automate regular reports and dashboards for internal teams and leadership using tools like Power BI, Excel, or similar.
- Compose clear, concise reports that distill complex data into actionable business insights.
- Facilitate ERP (e.g., Infor CSI/Syteline, SAP) and MES data extraction for both ad hoc analysis and scheduled reporting.
- Collaborate with software developers and IT to support and maintain .NET-based systems related to reporting, interface features, and workflows.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as operational efficiency, yield, downtime, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide training and documentation to non-technical users for effective use of dashboards, reports, and data tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis using both historical and real-time data to assist in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of data across all reporting and analytical processes.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
