Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an SQL Database Administrator.
- Proficient in installing and configuring SQL database environments.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and determine root causes swiftly.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Query Standards and best practices.
- Skilled in optimizing and tuning SQL code using execution plans and system DMVs.
- Experience with creating and maintaining database system diagrams and documentation.
- Knowledge of data migration through development cycles including testing and deployment to production.
- Effective collaboration skills with application support and development teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical requests from end users related to RCH products and systems.
- Analyze data swiftly to identify the root causes of technical problems.
- Install and configure SQL database setups in accordance with company standards.
- Implement database schemas, tables, views, and data objects.
- Work closely with application support specialists for quarterly releases.
- Review and improve queries that may affect production performance.
- Conduct migrations of changes through testing environments and into production.
- Review new SQL Server features and operational changes prior to migrations or upgrades.
- Create, update, and maintain documentation of data standards and processes.
