Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Associates Degree with two (2) additional years of relevant experience may be acceptable). - Three to five (3-5) years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or a comparable domain, with involvement in property and compliance audits. - In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45, DFARS, and other pertinent federal regulations governing the lifecycle management of Government Furnished Property (GFP). - Proficient understanding of inventory control techniques, equipment and supply classification, valuation methods, and life-use determination. - Familiarity with purchasing and procurement protocols, facilities management, and organizational operations. - Basic computer literacy and competence in hardware and software applications. - U.S. Citizenship is required for access to classified information. - Expertise in using asset management software and inventory tools. - Exceptional analytical abilities with an emphasis on data accuracy and detailed reporting. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective information presentation. - Capability to build and sustain effective relationships with various stakeholders. - Efficient management of work tasks and deadlines, with a readiness to travel up to 10% as necessary. - Agility in independently drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the management and accountability of government property and assets in accordance with contract stipulations and regulatory requirements. - Maintain precise records of all government-owned property, tracking acquisition, upkeep, and disposal. - Ensure adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and specific agency guidelines related to asset oversight. - Conduct regular physical asset inventories and address any discrepancies in records. - Resolve issues pertaining to asset accountability and inventory inconsistencies. - Utilize asset management software and inventory systems for asset tracking and management. - Maintain internal and external record-keeping within the organizations databases. - Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies and contracting officers regarding asset status and inventory levels. - Assist in audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and support. - Manage the lifecycle of assets, from acquisition to final disposition. - Coordinate the procurement of new assets, ensuring compliance with government purchasing guidelines. - Develop and implement inventory control measures to protect assets. - Track and monitor the movement of assets, ensuring databases are current and precise. - Collaborate with both internal departments and external agencies to manage inventory levels and requirements. - Occasionally travel to neighbor islands and the mainland as needed under supervision.
