Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows laptops, docking stations, printers, scanners, webcams, and other peripherals
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and VPN client configuration
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration: user provisioning, multi-factor authentication, and basic Exchange tasks
- Comfort in using help desk ticketing systems and providing clear documentation
- Ability to communicate professionally and jargon-free with users of varied technical backgrounds
- Familiarity with Intune, conditional access policies, and basic PowerShell (preferred)
- Interest in R/C, electronics, 3D printing, or maker-space tools (preferred)
- Experience in supporting shared workspaces or membership-based environments (preferred)
- 1 to 2 years of help desk experience or a solid technical foundation with relevant certifications
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows laptops, docking stations, printers, scanners, webcams, and other accessory devices
- Address and resolve VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote access issues for users both in the shop and remotely
- Oversee user account management, including multi-factor authentication, password resets, and onboarding processes within Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
- Assist users in identifying and handling suspicious emails by flagging, escalating, or providing guidance as necessary
- Map shared drives, manage permissions on SharePoint, and offer support for the Microsoft 365 suite
- Document ticket resolutions and ensure confirmation of resolution before ticket closure
