Requirements
Must:
- 5–8+ years of experience in an MSP or multi-client IT setting, focusing on advanced support
- Proficient troubleshooting abilities in servers, networking, cloud systems, and intricate integrations
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows servers, VMware/HyperV virtualization, firewalls, and complex networking
- Capability to design, document, and execute IT projects with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Leadership-oriented mindset, passionate about mentoring others and enhancing processes
- Ownership-driven attitude, adept at critical thinking, and remaining composed under pressure
- Preferred certifications: Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 certifications, VMware VCP, CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues raised by Tier 1 and Tier 2 personnel, involving servers, networks, cloud platforms, APIs, and advanced diagnostics
- Resolve complex incidents requiring expert-level troubleshooting and extensive platform insight
- Mentor, coach, and provide on-the-job training to Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff members
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal processes
- Execute Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) protocols while validating server backup and restoration processes
- Direct the planning, resources, and execution of IT projects, including migrations, deployments, upgrades, onboarding, and environmental assessments
- Collaborate closely with clients to identify needs, propose technical solutions, and ensure expectations are met regarding deliverables
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and communication to ensure quality outcomes
- Participate in technology business reviews (TBRs) by assessing client technology posture and suggesting enhancements
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot advanced infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, networking, servers, and security solutions
- Assist in designing new solutions and guide clients towards best practices in technology adoption
