Requirements

Must:
- Associates degree in a technically related field preferred. - Experience in providing computer and network support. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Proficient troubleshooting skills. - Capability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment. - Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with both internal teams and external clients. - Must successfully pass criminal background checks. - Familiarity with PC Security Administration and Updates. - Experience with Active Directory and mobile device management, preferably SCCM. - Knowledge of virtual host hypervisors, such as Hyper-V or VMWare, is preferred. - Experience with hosted cloud environments, such as Azure or AWS, is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Provide customer support to efficiently identify and resolve software and hardware issues. - Configure, deploy, and maintain desktop, laptop computers, mobile devices, and printers used in the educational setting. - Support datacenter servers and entry-level network infrastructure. - Manage Active Directory account settings, user permissions, and group policies. - Assist in the installation and configuration of Windows servers in both physical and virtual environments. - Troubleshoot both wired and wireless network components and related protocols. - Develop and implement standard workstation images for desktops and laptops. - Create desktop strategies and configuration alternatives to meet customer requirements effectively. - Design and implement centralized patch distribution management systems. - Ensure operating systems on workstations are up to date with the latest security updates, service packs, and manage BIOS and driver maintenance. - Interact with customers and vendors via phone and in person. - Provide continued hardware and software support across all technologies. - Address help desk tickets promptly and efficiently. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for both workstation and network environments. - Manage multiple priorities, including troubleshooting tickets, ongoing projects, and additional tasks. - Stay informed about emerging technology trends relevant to the role.
