Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in a STEM field is mandatory
- A masters degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering is preferred
- At least 7-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or similar sectors such as mining, industrial, or heavy equipment design
- Familiarity with project management across various functional groups and enterprise tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, SAP)
- Experience working closely with suppliers and/or customers regarding requirements and performance
- Candidates exceeding these qualifications may be considered for senior roles based on their experience and additional skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide teams in the collection and management of technical information for diverse projects
- Focus on hydraulic fracturing utilizing electric power or large-scale surface equipment in oilfield operations
- Participate in shaping strategic direction for technology development from concept to commercial rollout
- Design and oversee system and major sub-system levels within an integrated product team, covering heavy equipment, hardware, and software
- Apply extensive knowledge of various fields concepts, practices, and procedures to achieve project goals
- Advise on ensuring compatibility of internal and external system interfaces using an open systems approach
- Establish baselines and configuration controls for multiple projects
- Develop and negotiate system-level requirements and conduct financial analyses to ensure timely achievement of technical performance
