Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited institution
- Legal authorization to work
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10%)
- Knowledge of OT protocols like OPC, IEC-60870-101, IEC-60870-104, IEC-61850, DNP3, GSM, MODBUS, GOOSE
- Proficient in managing and configuring Historian PI and Proficy, with migration capabilities
- Understanding of SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, Controllers & Protection relays
- Background in HMI application software including Proficy Cimplicity and Historian-based products
- Familiar with Visio software
- Strong computer skills, including setting up Windows-based applications (Windows XP, 2000, 7, 10, Server 2012)
- Technical expertise in engineering design and construction practices
- Team-oriented with flexibility and the ability to learn complex concepts rapidly
- Hands-on experience with GE Mark VI turbine control and Cimplicity HMI software
- Field experience with related equipment
- Certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA A+/Network+
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and configure OT Network Architecture, implementing cybersecurity controls
- Apply network segmentation using the OT Purdue model
- Utilize network technologies to set up and manage HSRP, QOS, RSTP, AAA, Standard & Extended ACLs, SNMP, Switch Stacking, Port Mirroring
- Work with UTM technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA for HA, Policies, DAP, Radius, NAT, Transparent setups
- Manage Windows technologies including account management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, Group Policies, and certificate administration
- Configure and manage ESXI hosts, including standalone and clustered environments
- Oversee cyber modules for backup solutions (Acronis & VEEAM), log management (Splunk & SIEM), patch management (Ivanti & WSUS), application controls (Trellix EPO), DLP (Trellix), IDS (Nozomi & TrendMicro), and remote operations (Xona)
- Ensure compliance with NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST standards, and local regulations
- Manage risk assessments, operational stability, access control, and incident responses
- Solve complex problems independently
- Conduct patch management
- Train, guide, and create or improve work instructions and procedures
- Provide technical support for software engineers regarding HMI applications
- Assist field engineering services with technical resolutions to field issues
- Handle multiple projects while being accountable for timely performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and regulatory compliance
- Review customer specifications and perform hardware selection for system control components
- Travel domestically up to 30% as required
