Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum of two years of experience with COMSEC as a Primary or Alternate COMSEC Custodian
- Significant experience in implementing vIPer phones
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field
- Active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance
- Preferred: Over four years of experience in COMSEC, focused on vIPer connectivity engineering
- Preferred: Experience in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
- Preferred: Background in developing and interpreting policies and strategies for COMSEC program execution
- Preferred: Experience providing technical guidance on secure voice products and SOP development (e.g., annual rekey, vIPer upgrades)
- Preferred: Masters Degree
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to coordinate SCIF/closed-area telecommunications and VoIP infrastructure development
- Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) by adhering to SCIF design requirements for governmental sponsors
- Utilize OSI model expertise to troubleshoot and enhance secure vIPer connectivity
- Manage vIPer phones, including conducting software upgrades, keying devices, and programming features
- Install vIPer phones and oversee rekey activities
- Address V.150 protocol issues to ensure secure connectivity
- Create detailed runbooks for recurring technical tasks and train partner teams for on-demand support
- Ensure complete accountability for COMSEC items and provide oversight across multiple accounts at various locations
- Conduct backups, system upgrades, reconciliations, and inventories of COMSEC materials
- Operate and maintain common fill devices (KIK, SKL, SDS) and handle the preparation/shipping of COMSEC materials per partner policies
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to support information security initiatives
