Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with Power Apps, specifically in constructing canvas and model-driven applications for digitizing forms and user interactions.
- Strong proficiency in Power Automate for designing automated workflows that facilitate approvals, notifications, and data integration.
- In-depth knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL for effective data management within Power Platform environments.
- Demonstrated ability in optimizing workflows, particularly in establishing approval routing and managing exceptions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with team members, capturing requirements, and delivering training/documentation.
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with Power BI for developing dashboards and reports that enable real-time tracking and audit trails.
- Background in procurement or finance sectors, particularly experience in related workflows in public sector contexts.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies, thriving in development settings that emphasize iterative feedback.
- Knowledge of change management practices to assist with user adoption, training, and transition strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the automation of procurement and accounting workflows to boost operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Develop a detailed automation strategy that aligns with departmental objectives.
- Configure or create tools for automating purchasing request forms, invoice processing, approval routing, and audit trails.
- Ensure the establishment of data standardization and validation measures.
- Deliver training and create documentation for staff members to ensure they are equipped to use new systems effectively.
- Facilitate change management through workshops, feedback sessions, and ongoing support for staff during transitions.
- Monitor performance metrics and gather user feedback to enhance workflows and automation rules continuously.
