Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in business analysis and documenting IT requirements
- Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and requirements validation
- Understanding of agile development processes
- Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Quick learner of new technologies and their application to business contexts
- Team-oriented, thriving in a dynamic team environment
- Capability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient listening skills and ability to clarify complex matters
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee project activities by facilitating dialogue with business units, project teams, and stakeholders regarding requirements and proposed solutions
- Gather and document business requirements (features and user stories) for assigned projects and manage the product backlog
- Break down user stories for each iteration into clear tasks for developers
- Guide the team in defining acceptance criteria for user stories
- Engage business stakeholders with insightful questions to ensure the development team comprehends the tasks at hand
- Utilize knowledge of business processes to recommend improvements enhancing end user and client value
- Propel the integration of Business Analyst roles and processes within projects
- Analyze customer capabilities and identify potential vendor solutions
- Serve as a conduit between various project stakeholders
- Recognize business needs and success metrics
- Collaborate with technical teams to propose solutions that elevate customer value through improved workflows and efficiencies
- Aid the PMO by providing both technical and non-technical support in project documentation development
- Engage with stakeholders and users to gather and validate software requirements
- Collaborate with the development team on task creation and estimation
- Ensure accurate implementation of requirements by working closely with technical teams
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and address ongoing needs post-delivery
- Take ownership of analysis and testing components of projects to assist the PM
- Guide the development team through project execution by addressing queries, resolving identified bugs, and assisting with technical challenges
- Establish and maintain a testing strategy aligned with iterative development
- Lead efforts in defining features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Manage requirements gathering processes and effectively communicate needs to both business and technical teams
- Proactively inquire for comprehensive understanding of user stories and provide constructive feedback on implications of requests
- Clearly convey issues, inquiries, and recommendations to stakeholders and team members
- Manage business unit expectations regarding project timelines
- Understand existing and target business processes to align efforts
- Model anticipated system interactions during software development
- Identify discrepancies in data requirements and ensure alignment with needs
- Create mock-ups for new user interfaces when necessary
- Support both business units and development teams by discussing technical impacts and dependencies
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop user scenarios as needed
- Commit to continuous improvement by identifying and documenting system recommendations for current and future projects
- Assist users in refining business process documentation and guidelines
