Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience as an Application Analyst
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, process mapping, and gap analysis
- Proven ability to collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle (design, testing, deployment, support)
- Comfortable operating within a managed services framework; organized and adept at prioritizing multiple requests
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
- Experience with application support and administrative tasks such as user access and operational support
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and application requirements to provide efficient system support
- Gather, document, and validate system needs; conduct gap analysis and assess impact with technical teams
- Create detailed functional specifications and collaborate with developers, QA, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the design, testing, and deployment phases
- Support system testing, monitor performance, resolve issues, and generate reports
- Develop user documentation and training resources; offer guidance to analysts and end users
- Suggest improvements, upgrades, and adopt new technologies to enhance functionality and user experience
- Execute application administration, including user maintenance and management of SSL certificate processes
- Recommend, plan, and implement software enhancements, patches, and updates
- Comply with internal standards and governance requirements
Description
We are searching for a skilled Application Analyst to join our team on a remote basis, specifically in the Mountain Time Zone. This is a 6-month contract role with a high probability of extension or transition to a full-time position. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and IT partners to enhance application performance, manage support for up to 200 applications, streamline processes, and ensure user needs are met with adequate documentation and support. We offer competitive compensation of $80-90 per hour, along with paid time off.
