Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in Oracle database development, with a strong focus on PL/SQL
- Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle APEX, ORDS, and REST API development
- Practical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including database, compute, and integration services
- Expertise in designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines for Oracle applications
- Solid understanding of relational database architecture, performance enhancement, and high-availability setups
- Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) associated with Oracle APEX applications
- Preferred certifications in Oracle Cloud (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Developer or Oracle APEX Specialist)
- Experience in cloud-native microservices or containerized Oracle applications is a plus
- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with DevOps tools like Git or Jenkins
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence utilizing Oracle tools
- Strategic mindset with the ability to design comprehensive solutions
- Strong communication capabilities and experience in mentoring technical teams
- Self-driven with the ability to lead projects independently
- Detail-oriented with an analytical, solution-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain full-stack applications using Oracle Cloud technologies
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and database elements
- Create user-friendly web interfaces, dashboards, and forms with Oracle APEX while adhering to modern UI/UX practices
- Build and manage RESTful APIs via ORDS to facilitate integration between Oracle databases and cloud-native applications
- Set up automated CI/CD pipelines for database and application deployments using Oracle-compatible tools
- Monitor and enhance database and application performance to ensure efficiency, scalability, and high availability
- Uphold security best practices, including data encryption and access controls, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards
- Collaborate effectively with architects, DevOps, and business teams to clarify system requirements and solution designs
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and advocate for Oracle best practices within the team
- Maintain detailed documentation for coding, APIs, cloud architecture, and deployment workflows
