Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft endpoint management
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune in production settings (preferably over 1,000 endpoints)
- Experience in planning and executing SharePoint and OneDrive migrations
- Strong knowledge of NTFS permissions
- Familiarity with Entra ID and Azure Active Directory
- Understanding of hybrid identity models
- Experience with Win32 app packaging
- Knowledge of Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Preferred experience with VMware-backed environments
- Public sector or K-12 experience is advantageous
- Bachelors degree is mandatory
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (required)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation strategy for Microsoft Intune
- Architect zero-touch and Autopilot enrollment processes
- Develop Win32 application packaging and deployment logic
- Create detection rules and frameworks for install validation
- Implement Multi-Factor Authentication and compliance policies
- Provide expert advice on hybrid versus cloud-native Entra configurations
- Evaluate on-premises file share environments
- Plan and execute SharePoint and OneDrive migrations
- Analyze and rationalize NTFS permissions and security group structures
- Remediate issues related to path length and invalid characters
- Design SharePoint site architecture and governance frameworks
- Configure migration tools such as SPMT, Migration Manager, or third-party alternatives
- Offer guidance on retention and Data Loss Prevention strategies
- Supply documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Support Microsoft escalation paths as needed
- Deliver user training sessions
Description

This role is hybrid and requires candidates to reside in the Northeast region. Our ideal candidate possesses substantial experience in Microsoft Intune and SharePoint data migrations and will focus on providing architectural guidance, oversight for implementations, and transferring knowledge to our internal teams. We offer competitive pay ranging from $75.00 to $90.00 per hour and seek a motivated, detail-oriented security engineer who excels in identifying threats and enhancing security governance.
