Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or a highly regulated environment.
- Security+ Certification is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in cyber security design, administration, and operations.
- Experience in architecting and engineering physical security systems, Office 365 Security, automation and scripting, Cisco security infrastructure, Docker container virtualization, Cloud security, identity management, GPO conditional access, and Microsoft InTune.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Keen interest and commitment to cyber security technologies.
- Constantly improving knowledge of current security best practices, cybercrime, and hacking techniques while staying updated on the latest vulnerability trends.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective collaboration with diverse individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner.
- Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Support and sustain security operations and tools designed to monitor and ensure compliance across the organizations digital assets.
- Collaborate with fellow security administrators, engineers, architects, and operational teams to implement and uphold compliance with the organizations security policies and procedures.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Active Directory both on-premises and in the Cloud.
- Oversee SIEM operations and optimization using Splunk and Microsoft Defender.
- Facilitate incident response investigations.
- Engage in processes for vulnerability management.
- Proactively hunt for threats using tools like Tenable and conduct security analyses, including email forensics.
- Assist in script automation via Powershell.
- Maintain the Intrusion Protection System.
- Manage Azure AD hybrid environments.
- Oversee firewall infrastructure and access lists.
- Experience with Identity Service Engine is advantageous.
- Provide prompt and effective responses to service requests.
- Complete all mandatory training and adhere to company or regulatory policies and requirements relevant to the role.
- Promote and uphold a culture of inclusion.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the companys mission, vision, and values.
