Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related technology field
- Over 9 years of experience in software development for critical, large-scale applications
- Strong proficiency in .NET coding standards for mid-tier systems
- Extensive knowledge in Java, C#, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Experience building server-side, scalable enterprise applications
- Ability to lead and mentor fellow developers
- Familiarity with re-platforming extensive applications
- Expertise in high-volume transaction systems
- Experience in developing cloud-neutral applications on AWS and Azure
- Capability to troubleshoot legacy systems and support modernization
- Experience with formal architecture, design, and code reviews
- Strong background in financial services technology solutions is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred
- Proficient in design patterns and principles like OOP, SOA, and Microservices
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase
- Familiarity with modern IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ
- Understanding of CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to perform test automation for various testing levels (unit, functional, and non-functional)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive applications
- Lead the coding and architectural decisions for software systems
- Collaborate with teams to implement complete, customer-focused solutions
- Provide support and manage the transition of software into production environments
- Generate clear and detailed design documentation
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems to improve functionality
- Conduct architecture and code reviews as part of the development process
- Engage actively in Agile and Scrum ceremonies and processes
- Create and implement high-quality APIs following RESTful design principles
- Develop and maintain technology solutions tailored to financial services
- Coordinate the deployment of containerized APIs using cloud infrastructure
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and development methodologies
- Facilitate test automation and contribute to thorough unit and functional testing.
