Cash application analyst

- Accurately identify and input both premium and non-premium payments following established procedures - Conduct necessary cross-checks to maintain the quality and accuracy of entered data - Utilize proper MAR and internal controls for all completed tasks - Research payments utilizing various systems, including bank imaging tools - Collaborate with internal teams such as Accounting, Billing, and Accounts Receivable to ensure proper payment allocation and reconciliation - Build rapport with external stakeholders, including banking partners, for effective resolution of payment-related issues - Understand and prioritize deadlines associated with payment research to meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - Prepare and batch incoming mail in accordance with internal controls - Timely research and apply payments from daily exception reports, adapting to peak and off-peak periods - Complete daily reconciliation of premium receipts and address any variances - Gain insight into payment adjustments and how they affect customers - Address inquiries in line with internal SLAs - Propose, develop, and implement process enhancements - Stay aware of expected outcomes for daily deliverables and proactively resolve exceptions - Undertake additional tasks as business needs arise - Participate in various projects as necessary
