Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience managing Linux systems in live environments
- Proficient in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration
- Strong understanding of IPv4 networking concepts, routing protocols, NAT traversal, and troubleshooting
- Experience with network security measures such as nftables, iptables, and equivalent firewall technologies
- Familiarity with wireless networking standards and troubleshooting
- Ability to manage macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS devices in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or open source alternatives
- Strong grasp of authentication systems and protocols such as LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SSO
- Competence with Git for managing configurations and documentation
- Real curiosity and eagerness to deeply understand technical aspects
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous approach to troubleshooting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical information to non-technical team members
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple projects
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
- Collaborative spirit with a commitment to supporting team members
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain our Linux server infrastructure, including containerized applications using Docker and Podman
- Support macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS devices across the organization
- Develop, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure involving routing, NAT, VPNs, and wireless networks
- Apply infrastructure-as-code methodologies using Git for version control and documentation
- Manage network security protocols using firewalls, nftables, and iptables
- Handle identity and access management, including LDAP directories and OAuth/OIDC systems
- Deploy and oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for company and personal devices
- Perform security evaluations and establish best practices for endpoint and network safety
- Administer user provisioning, access rights, and offboarding processes
- Offer technical assistance to personnel, fixing hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Track system performance, availability, and security, addressing incidents as required
- Create and maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and internal knowledge bases
- Assess and propose new tools and technologies aligned with our open source values
- Cultivate vendor relationships for hardware, software, and services
