Ecommerce and Mobile Engineering Manager

- Define and drive the technical roadmap for eCommerce and mobile platforms in alignment with business objectives - Collaborate with Product, UX, and Business teams to formulate and implement digital strategies that enhance conversion, engagement, and customer retention - Establish engineering standards, development methodologies, and best practices ensuring quality, security, scalability, and performance - Lead, mentor, and nurture a cross-functional team comprising front-end, back-end, and mobile engineers - Manage resource allocation, establish goals, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate professional development for the engineering team - Oversee project execution from inception to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery on multiple initiatives - Cultivate a culture centered on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement - Supervise architecture for scalable, high-performance solutions utilizing SFCC, OCI, SFOMS, React, and mobile frameworks - Guide headless commerce implementations and integrations with internal and external APIs - Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and governance within commerce and mobile ecosystems - Drive architectural decisions pertaining to SFCC, headless implementations, RESTful APIs, and middleware integration for seamless omnichannel experiences - Implement caching and security best practices to optimize performance and safeguard data - Lead the enhancement and optimization of mobile applications and user experiences - Collaborate with mobile product teams to outline app strategies, user journeys, and release schedules - Oversee the integration of mobile solutions with eCommerce and digital marketing platforms - Establish platform governance, including performance monitoring, incident management, and error resolution - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards and practices - Promote ongoing improvement via technical reviews, post-mortems, and performance optimization
