Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical support position.
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient technical knowledge in Windows and/or Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and remote desktop support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively engage with users at all organizational levels.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to solutions.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support to clients encountering software or hardware issues.
- Address IT-related incidents and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems regarding hardware, software, network connectivity, and printing issues.
- Escalate complex technical matters to the appropriate IT team members as necessary.
- Support the installation and configuration of software and hardware for staff members.
- Act as a liaison with external vendors to resolve technical problems or coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Maintain precise records of IT incidents, requests, and solutions using a help desk ticketing system.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining IT documentation and processes.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in IT support.
- Approach all interactions with customers and colleagues with a friendly and service-oriented demeanor.
- Adhere to prototype:IT standards, including regular attendance, grooming, and security protocols.
