Requirements
Must:
- Completion of an IT-related post-secondary program or equivalent work experience in system administration, networking, or technical support.
- Entry-level to experienced candidates are encouraged to apply; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency using Linux, particularly in command line operations.
- Familiarity or experience with ZFS or other filesystems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including bonding, subnetting, and routing.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Critical thinking skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot and solve problems in real-time.
- A customer-centric attitude, with a talent for teaching and providing support to others.
- A valid passport is preferred, as occasional travel to customer locations or our headquarters in Canada may be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Address customer inquiries and issues through our service ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network challenges with confidence and clarity.
- Utilize Linux commands and ZFS to configure and support custom storage solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to fully grasp their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Document resolutions and create helpful resources for team members.
- Tackle networking challenges such as bonding, subnetting, and routing.
- Maintain system integrity and data security through proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service and support continuously.
