Requirements
Must:
- Active CCIE Lab Certification is required
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in enterprise networking
- Strong proficiency in Routing & Switching
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in complex BGP and OSPF environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista network platforms
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree Protocol, and Multicast
- Familiarity with IP routing platforms: ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, and Nexus 9K
- Understanding of Multicast technologies: IGMPv2/IGMPv3, PIM, Static RP, and RP-Anycast
- Experience with overlay networking technologies like IPSEC, DMVPN, and VXLAN
- Proficient in high-speed cabling and optic types (10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, 100G)
- Knowledge of automation using Ansible is preferred
- Solid experience in IPv6 implementation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE, TACACS, and DNS/DHCP configurations
Responsibilities
- Create and design network solutions for Campus, Data Center, and Cloud infrastructures using both IPv4 and IPv6
- Identify communication pathways between end devices and edge devices
- Execute and oversee data gathering, aggregation, and analytics testing
- Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues across routing, switching, and overlay technologies
- Assist in network migrations and upgrading infrastructure
- Provide specialized knowledge in BGP, OSPF, and advanced network troubleshooting
Description
We are looking for a Senior Network SME Engineer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA, on a hybrid basis, requiring three days on-site. This is a six-month role aimed at professionals with a robust background in enterprise networking, especially those holding an active CCIE Certification.
