Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, R&D, or a technical customer-facing role.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Preferred: Experience in laboratory instrumentation, automation, life sciences, or related technical industries.
- Preferred: Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and regulatory frameworks.
- Preferred: Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold product strategy, vision, and roadmap informed by customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Conduct market research, competitive assessments, and customer interviews to pinpoint opportunities and challenges.
- Define and evaluate key performance metrics to gauge product success.
- Build business cases for new product development initiatives and enhancements, including financial analysis (pricing, margin, ROI).
- Translate customer and market insights into concise product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Service, Sales, and Marketing teams to prioritize and implement product development projects.
- Support project planning, timelines, risk evaluations, and cross-functional alignment.
- Oversee the product through all lifecycle stages—from concept to launch, updates, and end-of-life decisions.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, messaging, materials, and launch strategies.
- Provide product training and support to internal teams and key clients.
- Maintain pricing structures, discount policies, and configuration models in conjunction with Finance and Sales.
- Assess customer feedback, field performance, and market adoption to suggest ongoing enhancements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for product-related inquiries and escalations.
- Foster strong relationships with strategic customers and distribution partners to understand their needs and discover opportunities.
- Engage in customer meetings, product demonstrations, trade shows, and industry events.
