Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline (a Master’s degree is preferred). - I possess 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or similar roles that combine business and technical teams. - I have a proven track record of defining KPIs, documenting business needs, and supporting analytics initiatives. - I am familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. - I have an understanding of SQL, data modeling, and analytics techniques (experience in healthcare analytics is a strong advantage, but not mandatory). - I demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. - I communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and produce BRDs, data mapping specifications, and process flows. - I am capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. - I possess a solid grasp of KPI frameworks, performance measurement, and data governance. - I am a strategic thinker focused on actionable results, highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven. - I recognize myself as a self-starter who flourishes in a growing, undefined team environment. - I am approachable and collaborative, with the ability to influence without direct authority. - I am passionate about leveraging data to enhance decision-making and create impact.

Responsibilities

- I serve as the primary liaison between business departments and the Data Informatics team. - I collaborate with department leaders to define strategic goals, identify operational challenges, and establish success measures. - I convert strategic objectives into clearly defined KPIs and necessary data. - I develop and maintain documentation including business requirements (BRDs), KPI definitions, and functional specifications. - I conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to define and validate business needs. - I ensure that data solutions from the Informatics team align with business goals. - I validate reports and dashboards for data quality, usability, and effectiveness. - I create data mappings and definitions to link business terminology with data structures. - I analyze data trends and performance indicators to provide actionable insights. - I establish foundational practices, standards, and workflows for the BI&A function. - I create and manage a streamlined intake and prioritization process for reporting requests. - I mentor future team members as the department grows (up to three analysts in time). - I help maintain consistent KPI definitions as part of organizational data governance. - I partner with business units to foster data-driven thinking across the organization. - I present findings and insights to executive stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. - I nurture strong working relationships across IT, leadership, and business teams. - I actively participate in cross-functional meetings to align BI efforts with company objectives.

While experience in healthcare analytics is a significant advantage, it is not mandatory.
