Requirements
Must:
- Active DOD Secret Clearance is mandatory
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
- Proficient in backend application development with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong familiarity with frontend technologies, especially Angular
- Experience in the entire software development lifecycle
- Ability to integrate software with existing systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to adhere to established development protocols, including Sprint planning and code reviews
- Capability to work effectively within a team dynamic
- Availability for on-call operational support
- Proven ability to create detailed project documentation, including requirements, system design, and security details
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms, specifically ServiceNow
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Engineer, design, code, debug, unit test, and support Quality Assurance testing for custom Java applications
- Analyze user requirements and develop software solutions in an Agile, sprint-based environment using Jira
- Design new software solutions or modify existing applications to enhance operational efficiency
- Transform project specifications and problem statements into logical workflows for coding
- Integrate software applications with existing systems while contributing to team collaboration
- Provide Tier 3 / 4 support to operational staff and ensure project timelines are met
- Address and resolve customer issues with the software and act on suggestions for improvements
