Must:
I am looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in backend development with Python. You must be familiar with ETL systems and API microservices development, and possess a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture. Experience with OpenSearch, Redis, MongoDB, Docker, and WebSockets is desirable, and knowledge of video streaming services and Java SpringBoot would be a plus. Furthermore, experience with CI/CD pipelines, source code management tools, and automated testing platforms is essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to maintain and enhance ETL/ELT and API systems, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and efficient. You will work with Amazon AWS services to deploy, monitor, and manage these systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features. Troubleshooting production environment issues and optimizing systems for performance and security will be a vital part of your duties. Additionally, I want you to document the design, implementation, and operation of the systems, as well as provide technical support and detailed reports on project statuses to leadership and internal stakeholders. You will work in an Agile environment, participating in requirements analysis, design reviews, and code walkthroughs, while developing and maintaining documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
