Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing Java applications
- Proven expertise in DB2 and Postgres databases
- Strong knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with Kofax software
- Proficient in using Jira for project management
- Prior experience with Department of Labor (DOL) projects preferred
- Solid understanding of the complete software development lifecycle
- Capability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software effectively
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration and user sign-off
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements to craft detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases
- Conduct testing activities for Java applications on distributed platforms
- Utilize database technologies including Postgres and DB2 for queries and data verification
- Execute test program modifications, update test files, and run tests to verify outcomes
- Review testing results and ensure accuracy of program changes in accordance with specifications
- Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation to aid the software development lifecycle
- Organize and guide teams to achieve testing objectives under tight deadlines with transparency and collaboration
- Follow organizational guidelines for code checkout and migration processes
