Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in help desk support
- Proficient in promptly answering help desk phone inquiries
- Skilled in responding quickly to help desk emails
- Experience in escalating issues to senior staff using ServiceNow incidents
- Ability to perform basic computer repairs as needed
- Familiarity with installing software and updates on computers
- Experience assisting senior technical staff with tasks like data acquisition and report generation
- Capability to run daily reports and deliver them accurately
- Ability to create ServiceNow incidents for all incoming phone and email requests
- Experience with cable clean-up, installations, and data center maintenance tasks
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming telephone calls and emails from users experiencing issues with business applications
- Identify and log the nature of user problems in the tracking system
- Determine whether issues stem from hardware or application problems
- Escalate issues according to established procedures
- Guide users through problem-solving steps effectively
- Utilize technical resources and databases to research and resolve problems
- Leverage reference materials and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate on coordinating changes and system upgrades
- Provide timely, accurate responses to user inquiries regarding applications
- Communicate useful status updates to users regarding their issues
- Track and report time spent on all assigned tasks
- Adhere to established quality standards
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Complete tasks in a timely and organized manner
Description
We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. This is a hybrid role, entailing five days in the office and five days working remotely. In this contract position, you will assist users with business application issues, making sure to escalate problems as required.
