Requirements
Must:
- 1+ years of experience in IT Service Desk or Call Center settings
- Proficient with call tracking and ticketing software
- Detail-oriented and able to utilize provided documentation effectively
- Capable of assisting users with limited computer knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic experience in User & Security Group Active Directory administration
- Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems, particularly Windows 7 and Office 365
- Familiarity with troubleshooting Office 365 in network environments (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering superior customer service
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users regarding hardware, software, and systems via phone
- Troubleshoot and resolve users computer hardware and software issues
- Answer inquiries, leveraging knowledge of various software, hardware, systems, and processes
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members to investigate problems and identify solutions
- Guide users through diagnostic procedures via phone, employing diagnostic software, if necessary
- Create and escalate Remedy trouble tickets to Tier 2 Service Desk staff or third-party service providers as required
- Adhere to quality standards and demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner
- Reset or restore mainframe, LAN, and user IDs and passwords through RACF or Active Directory
- Coordinate product repairs by dispatching and overseeing service providers
- Research and update reference materials and diagnostic tools as needed to assist users
- Manage incident communication and business expectations effectively
Description
We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. This is a 4-month contract position with a focus on providing support via phone, predominantly for password resets. We prioritize reliability and effective communication to ensure the success of our operations.
