Requirements

Must:
- Strong professional experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.8 (ASP.NET MVC, Razor views) - Familiarity with Entity Framework and T-SQL, including stored procedures and query performance tuning on SQL Server / Azure SQL - Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap - Practical experience with Azure DevOps, including Git source control, build/release pipelines, and work item management - Comfortable using Visual Studio 2022 for development and debugging - Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting production defects and performance challenges - Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks, including test automation - Hands-on experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools, coordinating application-side integration with ETL processes - Prior experience in modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications within public-sector or enterprise environments - Understanding of Windows services, scheduled tasks, or job schedulers for background processing - Familiarity with application logging/telemetry and operational runbooks - Knowledge of enterprise application security/access controls and data handling best practices - Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility testing

Responsibilities

- Implement user stories by developing server and UI components - Generate technical design documentation, UI mappings, and operational support runbooks - Update database schema, enhance stored procedures, and conduct performance tuning - Coordinate SSIS/ETL efforts and document integration testing outcomes - Produce unit and integration test results, alongside CI pipeline outputs in Azure DevOps - Create deployment artifacts, define pipeline processes, and document rollback/runbook procedures - Compile status reports, defect logs, and knowledge transfer materials - Engage with product owners and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document technical and functional requirements - Translate business needs into actionable developer tasks and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps - Design, implement, and refine serverside components using C# and ASP.NET MVC - Develop and sustain Razor views and client-side behavior using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap - Implement business logic, background jobs, and scheduled tasks, minimizing reliance on API layers - Utilize Entity Framework for direct database connectivity and transactional logic - Participate in code reviews to uphold standards of security and maintainability - Collaborate with Azure SQL / SQL Server on schema updates, indexing, and performance enhancements - Work alongside data engineers on SSIS packages and ETL processes, validating integration points and data flows - Profile and address performance concerns, implementing caching and asynchronous processing when suitable - Maintain secure coding practices and assist with operational support activities, including logging and diagnostics - Contribute to the definition and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps - Produce deployment documentation and manage rollback plans - Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with QA and business SMEs to meet sprint objectives
